overnight yung sa zambales. the night is really freezing! you also get a view of the china sea plus lots of pine trees and fern plants.
on the offroad side, the highlight is a 45 degree long climb.
kim,
sumama nga ako sa PORCI the following day. masama parin kasi loob ko sa pagkakabitin the previous day. nag-practice sila ng mom drivers. 13 vehicles kami lahat.
afrasay and all,
wala pa schedule sa hi-peak. but i expect it on february again. i have to get permission from the landrover club to let us join if ever.

December 5th, 2002 12:20 AM #9Olive:::Bakit di ba natin kaya yon? Nandyan naman si LC80 and Ungas. Overnight tayo. I have two tents. It's good for two persons with still room for our gears. Wala sigurong long trek yan or do we camp near our vehicle w/c is much better. So I guess sa Sagada tayo sa January. Baka medyo ma-bore yon mga offroad maniacs natin. Remember si Larry is schedule to leave on the last week of Jan. Come on let's keep these alive...

December 5th, 2002 05:40 AM #10Kung may 4x4 ako....di ako magdadalawang salita sa alok ni Afrasay....I would even suggest na pag nagpunta ng zambales ang daanan ay ang lahar tracks ng megadike....the route is like ung Oct 27 niyo....pasok san fernando area, tapos ang labas ay sa porak area then good road via floridablanca na lalabasan ay Dinalupihan(bataan) na then olongapo and off to zambales.

December 5th, 2002 05:58 AM #11Hehe, medyo malayo ang Zambales and Sagada at may offroad trails din. I would rather pass the hiway to conserve my ride for the offroad trails of Zambales or Sagada.
But that's just me:wink:

as for the hi-peak, we need permission kasi dun sa mining company who has control over the area. pina-bulldoze pa nga namin pala last year yung big rocks.
