Get a 4D56T na lang, its practically a bolt on procedure, we did this na.... Malaki ang tipid compared with the old engine. Got the diesel engine for 35k plus another 5k for the install and other miscellaneous parts

I agree, kung gusto mo tipid get a 4D56t lang. compared them myself, mas matipid ang 4d56t. 4m40 has better kick power though.

share ko lang. . gamit ko 06 L300 VV 2.5 diesel with 4d56 engine ok naman performance til dinala ko sa baguio ang napansin ko pag tumakbo na sa NLEX 100km++ ng mga 10 to 15 min. tumataas temp umaabot ng lagpas kalahati then try ko bagalan mga 80km bumaba temp. nya napansin ko di pala pwede ihataw ng matagal i mean sa rekta ng above 100km speed dahil umiinit; alaga sya sa changeoil and kaka one year lang nya this september.
anyone naka experience nito using the same engine or 4d56 with turbo? tnx

total nag share ka na, share na rin ako with our 4d56 strada 2003, nitong may lang bumyahe kami from davao-manila-pangasinan,puno ng karga 5 persons on board, halos sasayad na yong gulong sa likod, aircon all the way, minimum speed of 100kph sa highway, 2 days na biyahe,kain at barko lang ang pahinga. total land travel is about 1600kms 1 way lang. wala naman kaming napansin na tumaas ang temp. o bumagal ang acceleration, din after 4 days lang umuwi kaming davao this time wala na karga kaya hataw na. we got home just like nothing sa pick up pero kami down talaga sa pagod. so with your story parang ang labo yata, no offense.

another mod you an do is install a throttle controller. no increase in power pero mag-improve ng malaki ang response sa arangkada...
