Among the three, which is better suited for Daily Driving Under Manila-Type Roads? Yung uneven surfaces and maraming potholes, and across-the-street diggings?

How much pala do they cost?

    Thanks!

Pagkakaalam ko Bilstein is the most road oriented kasi may line up sila for sports cars and such. Rancho and OME makes shock absorbers for off-road and commercial use.

for city driving, highway and little offroading,i was satisfied with our bilsteins,(LC80),ganda ng handling even in sharp curves. like your driving a car.(although medyo lowered din kce, orig springs naman, not putol)

for our 4x4's naman that still uses leaf springs,ok naman ang rancho's rs9000 for us.tigas lang at first, matagtag sha, pero when the shocks settle,ok naman.

we havent tried other brands besides the two,but my uncle wants to try downey suspension soon for his LC80 also.for city driving, highway and little offroading,i was satisfied with our bilsteins,(LC80),ganda ng handling even in sharp curves. like your driving a car.(although medyo lowered din kce, orig springs naman, not putol)

    Hey Guys,

    Thanks for the input!

Kasi next year, I need to change shocks na... for the XTRM then the Adventure... am looking around for good shocks para dito. Both have leaf springs. For sure, I'm not going offroading (kasi di talaga kaya ng AUVs), pero I consider Metro Manila Roads as a sort-of offroading din.

Will my rides improve kaya if I use shocks like OME, bilteins or Rancho?

one thing is for sure your wallet will be a lot lighter after you change your shocks.

he he he around 4-5K EACH ang mga budget diyan.

    so 4 x 5K = 20K

Pasakay ha pagkatapos mo mag palit ng shocks

actually if you want to have less tagtag, kailangan pati yung leafspring e palitan.

the shocks will give only modest improvement not dramatic (as in parang car)

I don't want to remove the leaf spings... kaya nga nag-AUV, so I can haul heavy stuff anytime.

Medyo matagtag na kasi ang mga sasakyan ko... magkano ba yung adjustable Rancho shock? Yung 9000 model right?

i think redeisel is reffering on changing your stock leafsprings into branded ones, like rancho leafsprings or TJM also have one.

in our case we just install the shocks, ang mahal ng rancho ng leafsprings eh.

    diseler,
i think rancho rs 5000 will do already for your AUV's

    dieseler,
i recently upgraded my rear shocks to Rancho Rs5000, bought it at 3,000 each, dito po sa san fernando pampanga, may review din ako nasa ibang thread you've probably seen it,
i say its bang for the buck!
the ride is stiff but not hard!
if you have the budget (iwas DVD muna)
go for the rs9000, parang 4x4 din, matutuwa ka kapag kailangan mo
kung marami kang sakay just twist the dial to setting # 4 or #5
kung ikaw lang set mo lang sa 1 or 2 lambot ride!

btw yung rs5000 setting nito is close or same as setting number 3

Bilsteins::: Stiff shocks, excellent for SUVs. Lalo na kung offroading. One thing for sure these shocks wil outlast any brand available on the market. Though not city friendly on our rock potted roads. :D If you decide on this product be prepared to order them first.

    Ranchos:::
5000: Van-AUV friendly, I find these shocks suitable for our "cemented" roads. Not much of an adjustment from an OEM shocks. Stiff enough for loads, soft for passengers. :D Price is a bit cheaper from the compared brands.

9000: The only brand that has its own stiffness setting. 1-5 Just like what the other said, adjust to your suitable needs. :D

RSX 9000: Not much of a review here, all I know is that it has "9" adjustment settings.

Old Man Emu::: This I got to test this product first. Just got them installed yesterday. :D So far I have learned that it has 1 year warranty on shocks only installed. 2 years on shocks and suspension installed. Thay have a 500 km. check-up after installation, and another 5000 km. check-up. Warranty will be void if not properly brought for its check-ups. :D

    Ako? Ganon kasi ako bumili:

Pag Collectible ang Movie (as in super ganda ie. Lord of the Rings) - Region 1
Pag Ok lang (maganda but I can live without ie. Iron Giant) - Region 3
Pag Pang-Razzie Award (like Scary Movie 2)- Region ALL - hahaha
I get them RegionAll from Quiapo...

    TY for the 'review'!

Hmm... so Biltein's is out for me...

Rancho na lang and OME... hmm... I remember OTEP saying that madaling matanggal daw ang pangadjust ng Rancho...is this true?

    Dieseler,
