Get the Ranger 2.2-litre, the way your heart says chief and for your own sake ;)
At least you're paying for the current technology and engine base platform.... Mazda engine year model 2007 or new 2012 Ford engine TDCi base platform (give or take) ang binibili mo, unlike the "other" lesser pickup. The 4D56 is, by the way, a year model 1986 engine platform that's why pansin mo mausok lalo na pag binira even when it is mated already with a VGT, commonrail system at intercooler.... You can trace that engine back from the 1986 L300, to the Adventure and to the Strada/Triton and Montero- or Pajerosport.
You may explain this to misis so she get enlightened, and for the justice of your hard-earned money.
Besides, you might not like an egg-shape pickup in the end as your taste has now changed. Just my opinion only sir and personal experience....

hugis itlog? permission to laugh out loud kaka!
Strada - passenger naman not the driver so I can only comment sa experience ng pasahero. 4x4 GLS, with Pirelli tires Halsema Hiway, Benguet. Ok naman power, hinde hirap mag overtake kahit akyatan, ride comfort hinde matag-tag kumpara sa older na pick-up (think pre global hilux, yun ang matag-tag 2002 4x4 Hi lux hehe).
FYI recreational purpose gamit ng dalawa (pang karga ng bike). IMO Strada get's my vote, despite being egg shaped ;) ...
Just to add. I drove my friends 2010 ranger (pre T6), XLT 4x2, with gay road tires, same route sa Ambuclao-Bokod road.

i'd rather go for dmax. isuzu is known for its durability and fuel efficiency. i wonder though why the couple had hard time deciding on it. sa bahay ko, lahat ng maliliit na bagay, si misis ko nagdedesisyon nyan. pag malalaking bagay, syempre, ako na dapat magdesisyon. so far, having been married for 23 years, wala pa namang malalaking bagay na kailangan ng desisyon ko. men are just like boys, we are obedient to mothers. hehehehe.

2010 Strada Vs. 2013 D-Max. Iwan ang D-Max 2 blocks away. No upgrades and all stocks. D-Max seems too heavy halata sa pag arangkada. Sana medyo light para masulit naman makina. Tsk. Tsk.
Daming issue ng SU7:grin:
