    I've heard from the grapevine that this SAFE SUV from Greatwall Motors of China will be sold here in the Philippines... with an SRP of around $11,000 or Php616,000 (Php56 x $11,000).. anybody heard about this..

    Question is, will it really be that cheap when it gets here? And what will the quality of the electrical system and the finish be? At least it has a Toyota engine. :D

    May option na diesel engine, 4D28(4JB1). Mitsu/Fuso or Isuzu engine ba ito?

    the grill just looks ugly. but apart from that it looks better than the everest.

    and knowing toyota - it might come in here with an ageing engine.

    baka 2L-TE diesel engine lang ilagay para mura.. mahal na yata ang mga 3L-E engines found on hiace...

    600T plus whatever taxes and customs duties applicable... Umabot kaya ng 1M? Sa 1M, di na yata worth it.

    the guy whom i've talked to said that it will cost nga around $11,000 or Php 616,000 all in na (taxes and duties included).. considering na luma na yung model ng engine na ilalagay but still, its a toyota. ang warranty yata ay 18 months or 30,000 kms w/c ever comes first. IMO, better have this than the ones from subic.

    i've heard about this when i was in central america... they sell great walls there... the company gets the "old" body molds from Toyota thats why you'll notice the exterior looks exactly like the old models from Toyota.

    the only downside i heard is that it has a NOT so powerful engine.

    based sa website, there are 3 kinds of engine
    1) 491QE - 2.2 gasoline,
    power = 74.5kw/4200-4600rpm,
    torque = 185Nm/3200rpm

    2) 491Q - 2.2 gasoline,
    power = 68kw/4600rpm,
    torque = 177Nm/3200rpm

    3) 4D28(4JB1) - 2.8 diesel,
    power = 57kw/3600rpm,
    torque = 174Nm/2200rpm
