Fellow dieselers, I would like to ask for your opinions on how to solve this lingering problem with my isuzu pickup.
Problem: Kapag idle tapos i-on mo AC, nanginginig makina at nararamdaman ang vibration sa cab/chassis. Ok naman ang idle RPM nasa 750 to 800. Kapag malamig pa engine, ok pa, wala masyadong nginig. Kapag operating temp na, lumalabas ang problem.
Eto na mga ginawa na namin;
1. New OEM engine supports
2. New OEM Injection Nozzles
3. Newly calibrated injection pump (Betan)
4. Bagong linis ang AC, bago freon, etc. (Mang Mario). They discovered my Fan clutch (Hashimide brand -- this sucks btw) was already loose and freewheeling. I returned back my old Fan Clutch which is OEM at hindi pa loose. Pina-check ko sa Isuzu mechanic ang fan clutch. Ok pa daw.
5. Checked idle-up, ok pa and compensates the rpm drop when the compressor activates.
6. Changed fuel (petron and shell) and even tried biodiesel.
7. Bnew air filter, fuel filter, oil filter, and engine oil.
8. Checked bearings: New bearing in PSteering Pump. Ang bearings ng Alternator and Compressor ok pa.
Other notes:
a. Hindi nagbabawas ng langis. Wala ring oil splatter when you open the oil cap. Di rin malakas pressure when you put your hand on top.
b. Hindi rin mausok.
c. Malakas pa ang hatak.
To Do:
1. Replace all fan belts.
2. Ipa-machine shop ang crank schaft pulley kasi may small leak dahil sa grooves kahit bago ang oil seal.
3. Ipa-machine shop din ang PS pump pulley kasi may small leak dahil sa grooves kahit bago ang oil seal.
4. Replace all fuel lines and vacuum lines.
5. Compression Test
Meron pa ba kayong naisip na possible cause nito?

almost the same problem in my xto. mapapansin mo during idling in traffic.
may nakwento sa 'kin dati si master boknoyxtrm2001, ganun daw problema ng xuvi nya dati. ang ginawa yata inadjust yung valve tappet clearances. yun din balak ko gawin, I just haven't found time to do it. pareho lang naman tayo ng makina... 4Ja1. 0.4 mm yata valve clearance nyan. subukin mo pre. it might work. feedback mo sa'min results.
According sa mga nabasa ko, eto mga symptoms kung out of spec ang valve clearance:
Unstable Idling
Insufficient Power
Excessive Fuel Consumption
Abnormal Engine Noise
BTW, na-observe ko kanina na hindi lang pala AC ang cause ng nginig. Kapag binuksan ko ang headlight (patay ang AC), nangingig din ang makina. Nilagyan ko ng supplement ang grounding points (sa LH at RH body ground) pero same pa rin. Kapag binuksan ang AC only or ang headlight only, nanginginig ang makina. Alternator problem na kaya ito?
