walang hotel sa dicasalarin beach mismo. we used Amco hotel as our base [tel: (42) 094209]. it's probably the best accommodation you can find on Baler beach itself, and Phil G referred this to us. from hotel to dicasalarin bay via car+banca, about an hour. by 4x4 all the way, ask Phil

yung rough road, is about 2/3 of the way from Cabanatuan (?) to Baler. a car can negotiate that road pero dahan-dahan makes for a good fun run on a 4x4. pero baka paved na rin by this time, suggest you ask Phil who was there just a week ago.

Pare, theres a new hotel in Sabang before Amco. Great rooms & facilities. Bajia de Baler Garden Hotel.

Phil and Rolf were able to bring down their 4x4's on the shore of Dicasalarin.
