Mitsu G-wagon for year 2004...could it be true? It is based on the Strada chassis, like the everest based on the ranger platform. They said the G-wagon has the 2.8L intercooled engine of the previous Pajero. I like it! I got the pic from motioncars. There's even a cool looking Revo, I reckon it's 4x4.

It's Mercedes-Benz Gelaendewagen, Gwagen or G-Wagen for short.

I think Mitsubishi will have to check on the legalities on this name. Body structure based on pickups seems to be "in" for these manufacturers. Almost the same setup with the other brands.

G Wagen is just a nickname for the G Class ;) Besides, its alright to have vehicles with the same name. eg. Toyota Highlander || Isuzu Highlander and marami pang iba.

G-Wagon is the Thai version of the Challenger a.k.a. Montero Sport. Mas may appeal daw kasi ang front end ng Strada sa market nila that's why they used it.

daimlerchrysler owns 22-28%(not sure about the exact number) of mitsubishi.
between G-class and G-wagon,i think the name sounds different especially when the official name of MB's $80K SUV are G500 and G55 AMG.i think the reason why it's safe to name isuzu's AUV highlander in the philippines cuz there's no toyota highlander there.but isuzu try it in north america and surely lawsuits will be flying.

    mercedes benz G-class

mitsu montero sport 3L and 3.5L (G-wagon in asia?)
