Bakit di na lang kaya units designed for purpose ang gamitin as modern Jeepneys? Like the Toyota Coaster. 29 seater, front facing and comes like that from the factory.

growing up with a PUV business... naisip ko din dati ito.

kaso almost 3.8M ang brand new na coaster

if 1K/day boundary tapos 25 days/month. 25K per month yun

more than 12 years bago kitahin ng operator yung 3.8M
I'm sure bulok bulok na yung coaster bago return of investment

next best vehicle to use are L300s or yung Travis. kaso mas mura pa din talaga yung Jeepney.
tapos since super luma/simple ng parts nya. wala din halos masisira.

estimate lang, matagal na panahon na wala na kami sa business... pero even if we raise it to 2K per day, 6 years pa din ROI

at 3.8M, wala pa dyan yung fees ng LTFRB and local membership sa route

my estimate was also based na di masisira yung Coaster, di ma-involve sa accident and wala tigil pasada nya.

normally sa mga PUV noon, nag-overhaul kami ng engine every 2-3 years.

Mag Hyundai coaster na lang para mura mura. Just curious, how much do the same seating capacity modern jeepneys cost?
