Frontier 3.2L

i've ridden in an a frontier (yung pre-facelifted model)... masikip at medyo uncomfortable yung rear seat... and medyo bouncy yung ride, pero parang lahat naman yata na compact pick-ups masikip yung rear seat at matalbog e hehe

I've been driving a Frontier 2.7E for two years now (got it Nov 2000). I've logged around 23K on the odo (usually city driving during the week and out of town on weekends).

The drivetrain has no problem whatsoever, just expect a lower mileage on the 3.2 a/t over the 2.7E (i've averaged around 7+ km in city driving with not so economical habits). On a 1300km trip to Ilocos and Baguio, i used around 3 full tanks. The engine has no visible (meaning: black) smoke emissions unless it's due for an oil change or the carbon/sooth has built-up in the exhaust.

Check the suspension though, the rear leaf springs has a tendency to squeak and i changed a ball joint on my left front wheel a few months back (under warranty though).

Since it's a second hand pick-up, check the suspension and underchassis. Kung wala pang rustproofing, have it rustrpoofed as well. I also experienced corrosion on my engine bay because of the #$#^$%#% battery (yung regular de-tubig) which spilled water and acid even if i didnt top it up.

I'm quite happy with my ride.

Medyo bouncy siya pero marami namang suspension tricks ang mga tao dito to soften it up.

Nakakainis lang wala siyang cabin heater. Mahilig pa naman ako mag-heater kapag nagmamaneho ako ng madaling araw or kapag late at night. Also, hindi din yata selectable kung aling air duct lalabas ang hangin. Parating sa dashvents lang.

Current favorite ko 'yang Frontier (hmmm...bakit kaya?). :mrgreen:

Almer's buhay pa at lalong lumaki! Dalawang apartment na ata sila ngayon. Daming Tsikot peeps na dumaan diyan during their USTedyante days. Hehehe.

Grabe talagang waitress iyon - ANG LALIM NG BOSES! Hehehe.
