To go back to 4x2 mode, shift into 2H and back up the vehicle a couple of meters to disengage the front hublocks.
Fresh Delica owner din po ako Sir, Paano po yun kung hindi ko naiatras after shifting to 4X2 mode saka paano po ba malalaman kung disengage na yung front hublocks? Salamat sa info in advance.

Oyaho, Alantstic-san.
Thanks sa input. Ayon sa Aussie friend ko, there is a possibility na masira yung font hublocks. Mga 4x4 masters, say nyo po dun?

If you don't back up, the hubs stay locked. Meaning they turn with the differential. This is not really a bad thing except that there is more mechanical drag.
HOWEVER, if you back up the vehicle (let's say out of a parking slot) and the hubs PARTIALLY disengage, they will get destroyed once you move forward again.

O/D should ALWAYS be ON. Kaya nga may warning when it is off. You should only turn it off during LONG steep ascents and descents.
