kung naka 4x2 lang, e di wala ng mechanical drag from the engine. yung mga 4x2 na patrol, always locked ang front hubs.

noon and sometimes on stoplight i played with the 4wd lever(2h->4h->4l->4h->2h)

one time i forgot while playing,i accidentally put on 4h when the traffic moved a bit..binalik ko agad sa 2h..kala ko ok lang kasi di umilaw ung "wheel lock"warning light.

while cruising on commonwealth ave at 60 kph i heard rattles under me(kasi diba tires ng delica nasa ilalim lang) then i stooped in the middle(buti wala akong kasunod)when i looked at my guage,the warning light is on!(naku patay sira na hubs ko..patay ko kay dadi!)

i back a bit then forwarded,i heard my hubs disengage then everything fine..

buti di nasira..

kaya i alwayz back-up na....delica pala will still lock the front hubs even at 2h when not backed up..

although inspected na ok hubs ko,di na normal ung locking nya,nawawala ung warning light below 20 kph the on again at 35khp++

based on my experience...auto hub talagang dapat atras muna bago abante ulit!

pag manual,di dapat ikot mo ung knob sa hub?

kahit na auto lock/unlock hubs pa...dapat mag back up ng 1-2 cars away para at least sure...minsan tinatamad akong mag back up..pero pag naiisip ko kung magkano ang gagastusin pag nasira, hehe, back up nako! :D

Oo nga, kapag ginamit ko na yung 4WD feature, back-up na lang ako para sigurado. Kung masira, malaki gastos sigurado. 'Patayin ako asawa ko!

The 4wd on the Delica is use mostly on snow in Japan. I won't take it on the trails that we usually go.

Sa auto hub kailangan umatras. Sa manual hubs (old school) or axle disconnect system (e.g. Pajero), hindi na.

sa kasamahan palad sa taas pa ako ng high peak zambales nasiraan, buti na lang nandyan si DC.org prexy para hatakin ako
