    Uy! kursonada ko yung Escudo. I want to know differences between escudo and vitara. which is better in your opinions? Plan ko gawin mini street truck. specs? :D

    I recall it's virtually the same except for the name, the no. of doors and it converted or not.

    ESCUDO ata is yung Japanese version. Same vehicle lang din except sa number of doors ata.

    Some ESCUDOs were also equipped with at 2.0L engine.

    The Escudo's that are imported into the Philippines are usually of the 1600cc 8 valve variety which has throttle body fuel injection. The Vitara's sold here are 1600cc 16 valve with multiport injection. This is a better motor. There are some Escudo's imported here that come with either 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder 2.0 motors. These are good too but parts will be difficult for the 6 cylinder. The 2.0 4 cylinder is the same as the one used in the 2.0 grand vitara

    Personally, I like the look of the 2 door hardtop escudo more than the others. It just looks kinda tough.
