Heared that the 2.8 (NHR) is underpowered so the fuel consumption is worse compared to its 3.2 line up. Pero kung tinapay lang naman ang karga mo I guess relatively mas magaan siya compared to a hardware items okay lang dapat yong NHR.

sir do you have any idea sa fuel consumption nung 2.8 nhr and canter 4d32 given both are 4wheel and with 10 ft aluminum van? ilocos-cagayan po byahe so walang traffic... mas matibay kaya canter vs isuzu nhr? salamat po...

good day po! tanong ko lang kung saan pwedeng bumili ng canter truck double tire yung wide ang cab, dropside lang at 4d33 engine? naghahanap ako kasi mahal dito sa probinsya......... may nakasubok na ba ng 4d35 na engine ,comment lang po, thanks.............

got elf 10ft 4be1 engine no problem so far wala pa din naging major na sira. 8 yrs na sa amin. used for softdrinks delivery about 100 cs per load. twice a week. medyo lang mahina bumatak.

Been using canter with 4d32 engine for 8 years na. IMO, mahina sa high speeds and 4d32 pero malakas sa kargahan. My fuel consumption is 8km/liter. Mababa kasi may aircon ako (dual), dalawa ang aux fan ko for the condensers, dalawa din ang alternator ko (12v & 24v). Pero kung standard configuration, alam ko umaabot ng 12 km/liter sa highway dati.
Usually naman ang itatagal ng engine madalas nasa gumagamit. Drivers are mostly the main issue. Synthetic oils are good for the engine with the pressumption na bago pa mga seals. I heard, pagluma daw ang seals, since higher pressure ang sythetic due to its viscosity, not advisable. though malaki din natipid ko sa synthetic in terms of fuel economy.
