If you'll have passengers on board and it's a "road trip" with roads (knowing how things are here in the PI) the sedan would be better IMO. But if it's a solo flight or two passenger thing where you also have to budget your gas money or if you're not sure how the roads are then a pick-up would be me advisable.
As for me... sobrang suklit na yung pick-up ko sa road trips (Iocos, Quezon, Baguio, Laguna, Rizal, Batangas, Bataan...) :D Lagi nga lang nagrereklamo yung mga pasahero ko sa likod dahil sa ride comfort (or rather the lack of it).

March 15th, 2003 05:26 PM #6Sedan would be a good choice, lalo na kung mga luxury series na sedans like the 2.0L's (Accord, Bluebird, Crown, Altima, Cefiro, etc) or more, yung mga hahaba at independent suspension. Reasons: Better leg room for passengers and less bumpy ride dahil better suspension.
Pero in a real world, kung aaraw-arawin ko ang long drive, okay lang ang pick-up. Built for tough na likod ko e. Extremes na ang partneran ko ng omega paggabi and a good massage.

Like the guys said, kung wala ka namang balak ikarga pauwi o papunta, use the car.
The only disadvantage that I could see is the height your pickup has which the latter doesn't offer. Mas madaling umiwas ng traffic pag mataas dala mo. :D

sedan... even a civic is more hospitable than a compact pickup. comfort is important in a long drive
pero kung mid-size car (accord, camry...) vs. large SUV (paj, patrol...), sa SUV ako

Nothing beats the comfort of a sedan on long driving in well paved roads. If you plan on carrying heavyloads and the road is unpaved then the truck is the better choice. Pero kung very long drive lets say 400+ kms to Laoag then consider the fuel effeciency of the diesel truck over the gasoline car.:D
