From what I know, that the safe limit. If memory serves, FC nila nasa around 2km/ltr.

Are those really the manufacturer's set load limit? I need a truck kasi that can load up to at least 7-8 tons. Parang overkill kasi kung mag 10-wheeler ako, and almost twice the price pa ang 10-wheeler and siguradong mas malakas pa sa fuel consumption. I will be forced to get a 10-wheeler.

now that is a hard question to answer. maybe you can ask the LTO regarding that. I think they have a per axle load computation on how heavy the load a 6wheeler truck can carry. pa iba iba kase ang regulations nila. dito sa amin ang ibang enforcing officers ang registration ang base ang iba per axle load/engine capacity.

They've been loading 12 tons using the Forward! So kayang kaya pala!
