I have these as OEM tires of my ride. How good are they both on-road and off-road? :D

They are primarily designed for use on road. As such they are not fitted with much sidewall protection or the aggressive tread pattern of their A/T and M/T cousins.

They are also a bit prone to 'bukol' especially in the sidewall areas.

But they are quiet and refined. I don't know about on-road traction.

after that incident, the jimny just hopped up to the peak

OEM tires din ito ng strada ko. Replaced them when I reached 10,000 kms. for safety reasons. Madaming bad reviews including madali daw sumabog, as what sir otep had mentioned, prone sa bukol sa sidewall, it wears fast, etc. From my experience with these tires, ride comfort was mediocre(matalbog at rough ang ride), traction was bad, maingay ito considering dapat quiet siya dahil highway tire siya(mas tahimik pa ang pinalit ko na Yokohama Geolandar a/t +2), and very noticeable ang thread wear after 10k kms.

IMO

add ko lang mga sirs, i had our '99 pajero serviced sa casa kanina for its 30k km check-up. among d things dat i told dem to fix is d slight tire wiggle at 100km/h. dey told me na baka balancing lang. wen dey called me up, dey told me na oblong daw yung gulong, but not d mags. so wat dey did, dey just put d 2 gud tires on d front n balanced all four. pangit pala tong bridgestone na to, and 2 think, 30k km pa lang namin ito nagamit! cud u guys give d average prices of d good tires u sirs earlier recommended? mahirap na matsambahan e. tnx :D

FYI, I got the Yokohama Geolandar AT +2 at Php4350 each at Princess Tire Supply. Trade-in value po ng OEM tires which were BS Dueler H/T(10K for its mileage) ay Php1500.

Bridgestone Dueler H/T
