March 4th, 2007 11:27 PM #11it'll take an experienced calibration shop to show the difference between a shop who's been in business for more than 35 years and one that is fly by night or claim to be in business long enough but doesn't have a clue of what they are talking about or nag mamarunong.....which is very common among small "unauthorized shops".
a call to Bosch Philippines will help....

March 5th, 2007 06:48 AM #14years of experience doesn't really equate to being in the right shop, factory trained or OEM certified personnel with certificates is also key plus a complete library of service manual references and parts list for every make and model in either hard bound or digital format.
and we don't call the person who performs the job a mechanic since it is a very broad term.
lastly, if for some reason other small shops have employed maybe one or two of our people who resigned or got terminated, they claim to be competent enough also to do the job.

Eto importante , yung training nung gagawa at expertise dun sa klase ng sasakyan, not because he's just an apprentice would make him an expert from then on. Dapat may training sa current models ng mga diesel engines complete with manuals for references. Yung iba would say kaya yan, but tama ba yung procedure ng paggawa? dun na madalas nagkakaproblema.

March 6th, 2007 11:57 AM #18if you don't mind me asking.....did he receive any formal training? if he did, who trained him and from what manufacturer? and at what level is he at right now or I should say what certified level.
if you've been in the business long enough, you'd know who are the key players in this calibration industry not to mention who are the old and current trainors of each manufacturer.
