kilalalanin mo ung shifting patterns ng matic ride mo...matitimpla mo naman yan...
peroi kung paakyat...mejo mahirap yan...
what i do is OD/OFF tapos depende rin sa ride..kung kaya naman na D lang...like our f150...or minsan gamit ko 2 or even 1 sa some roads using our exalta or vitara na matic.

Keep it in o/d Off then you can shift between the gears to engage some engine braking. Keeping it in "2" keeps the shifting up to 2nd gear only while "L" or "1" keeps it on first. Engine braking usually occurs when you keep the o/d off..

April 12th, 2003 08:27 AM #7This is what I do:
When using E150:
OD off on 2 - can climb up to 60kph, downhill limited to 40kph (w/o stepping on the brake pedal). Engine brake lang ako dito, mahal kasi front brake pads P6500.00
Trooper:
OD off on 2 - can climb up to 60kph, on dowhhill needs partial stepping on brakes, otherwise 60kph pa din or more. More than twice na ang mileage sa E150, pero di pa rin nagpapalit ng brake pads.. :D
