CZintrclr, use 4H without locking the center diff when using super select onroad. Locking the center diff will definitely produce the binding effect.

2H in floodwaters while on 1st gear would be ideal if your path is clear at wala masyadong stop go. When you're in floodwaters, you'd like to minimize stepping on the clutch as much as possible so that water doesn't enter your trasmission.

Ako, I prefer to use 4L if I'm anticipating stop and go. Mataas ang threshold ng engine if you're in 4L so that kahit mag break ka pa or even if you're creeping nalang, the engine won't die on you even if you don't depress the clutch pedal. Heck, you could even start the car while on 4L and 1st gear. An added advantage also would be na mataas ang rpm mo while on 4L thus minimizing the chances of water entering your exhaust.

teka ah, medyo late na na reply...

    anyway,

crawdaddy: I observed that too. So, bilib ka na sa ride natin? Hehehe... Btw, OEM stock idle is 850 rpm. When you switch on the aircon, it should go to 1k rpm, and when you switch it off, back to 850 rpm. Baka gusto mo pa xerox, let me know. I borrowed it from my friend in bacolod kasi.

    wiretap_md,
are you kidding?! if that's the same as the Workshop Manual, sobrang tagal nako naghahanap ng ganyan!!! and I think Workshop Manual and Service Manual parehas lang yan!

PANIS! haha yabang ba?

anyway ulit, kelan ko pwede pa-photocopy?

Hi diesel peeps! I plan to get a high-riding vehicle and I'm choosing between a Fuego and a Trooper. I need your expert opinion on which is better to use to ford floods, the pickup or the SUV? Thanks! )

isketi::: Depends all on the usage of your vehicle. Do you use it for work? Does it load heavy stuffs? You are comparing both vehicles from different sectors. Without a doubt the SUV will stand taller than the pickup.

crawdaddy: Pakita ko sayo on Saturday sa EB. Then you decide if you want to have it photocopied.
