Anyone know a shop that specializes in installing devices that disables your truck incase of a hijack?

have you considered a fuel line cut-off option?

Text mo daw find family to7000. Try mo install a postpaid phone sa truck mo. Tago mo and wire a hidden charger. If it works you can find your truck.

celfone based locator services aren't that accurate... it can give you accuracy of around 300 to 500 meter radius but thats as good with that method.

sorry wala, pero if you discuss it with any mechanic pede na niyang madiskartehan yan... mag-aadd lang siya ng shut-off valve, metal tubing for the extended fuel line and some rubber tubing.

yep, matagal na po meron niyan dito sa pinas. i used to work for a company that produces and markets these. a subsidiary of the lopez group of companies. hindi naman tayo huli pag dating sa ganyan hehehe.

most petroleum companies here already have gps trackers on all their delivery trucks (just imagine how frightening it is hauling about 150M worth of fuel around the country daily). maraming clients from industries like tv, telecoms, logistics, etc, etc have these in their vehicles so they can track their units in real time. makikita dito kung sino ang mga empleyado na rumuruta talaga at kung sino ang nagrerelak lang hehehe. some units are sms based and some are on gprs so cost of running will be cheap.

meron din features to switch off the engine, temp reading, panic modes, etc, etc.

streets are all surveyed and made by an in-house gis (geographical information system) team so digital maps vs gps location have an error margin of only +/- 5 meters.

    yes, 100% pinoy made .
