Mga Sirs,
Ask ko lang kung gaano ka durable yong re-wind alternators , yung bang manual ang pag-rewind ng wires and manual ang pag solder the diodes etc. basta sa nakita ko lahat pinapalitan nila ng mano-mano ( modified kung baga... ) , balak ko kasi mag-palit dahil yung stock ko na alternator pina-tingin ko sa auto electrical dito sa may lugar namin e' nasunog na daw yong winding ng alternator ko kailangan na daw palitan may option is palit ng surplus o pa-rewind ko na lang
Help me naman to decide o' wala na kasi brand new alternator nito e' luma na kasi makina ko surplus na isuzu na nakamount ngayon sa wrangler jeep

July 8th, 2005 08:03 AM #2May mga electrical shops naman that give you a replacement guarantee (although only for a short period) when you get a used/"rewinded" alternator. I would look to purchase from this types of shops para may peace of mind ka na pwede mo ibalik kung may sira.
Minsan nga lang ang rewinded na unit ay di na exacto ang amperage.

Dyan ako somewhere sa Pasay Rotonda EDSA for the alternator of my Isuzu C-240. I forgot the name of the shop - parang Rey's ata. Mababa kasi ang amperage ng aking alternator hindi kaya ang aircon. Instead of having it rewound, I just bought already rewound alternator. Forgot the price, medyo matagal na kasi.

try mo nalang maghanap ng surplus alternator with higher ampere rating. i'm sure marami dyan available.

Ano Sir paj4x4 mag-babago o kulang na ang amperahe ko pag-rewind na yung alternator ko, Di ba may bilang kapag nag-mamanual rewind sila kung ilang ikot?Nakakita na kasi ako ng nag-gagawa nyan e' may bilang kung ilang ikot yung wire.

July 9th, 2005 01:05 PM #7Best way to find out is to ask for some kind of warranty. The more confidence they have on their workmanship, the longer the warranty period they're willing to risk.
