bad_driver, Monotone Black na po ung paj ko hehehe. Egoy na egoy.

Im sure you can fit wider tires on the Gen3. Sa Gen2 and 2.5 hanggang 275/50 or 275/45 lang. I'm running 275/60's right now and it seems "flush" with the fenders already. I think 285/45's would still be accepable. I saw a Fortuner running 275/50's maganda naman ang tayo.

BTW, sa GenII Max you could slap in is 22in. Meron akong site dati na nakita where you can select a car then change the wheels, diameter, profile, car color and even lower the tire. Kaya lang walang rota extreme dun. puro Bazo etc.

Oks na kaya yung Nankang? Medyo hesitant ako sa mga china/taiwan for tires.

    Cardo,
The Toyota dealer I was referring to was Alabang. They probably just note what you've got on, but they don't have a database. Hehehe!

    Guys,
Re the Nankangs, they're not made or licensed by Yokohama. The local Yokohama dealer though, also distributes them, which is why they were associated with the Yokos. I've been told by my friend to also try the Goodyear GSD3 as a cheaper alternative to the 20s. They go for P15K.

Okay that clears things up. One thing, the Nankang brand is not pronounced in the sidewall. Its covered in a cool arrowshaped design. The tread pattern aint so bad either.

Yun lang talaga yung safety/reliability aspect. I dont care much for road noise. Heck, im using AT's right now.

pk, hehe ingay nga AT's at an tigas pa kamo hehehe... well they're made to be tough

naku mga tol... don't compromise your tires. they're the first thing that comes in contact with the road. I've experienced getting a flat running at 90kph - 100kph and while the flat happend the mags shredded the tire. an labas nun parang mags lang yun naiwan. I could'nt stop at once since I was at the middle lane and it was a fast freeway sa US... buti na lang it was an avis rent-a-car mazda. goodthing may hotline sila, we got towed to the nearest avis center at palit agad ng kotse. well, we were going home to phoenix(long drive hehehe) from LA coz I think it was a long weekend nuon. nakakatakot yun situation... kaya make sure you get good tires.

guys, went to the concept one gallery website.

I realise na sa aesthetics, bitin talaga ang 20s. 22s pala talaga ang magpapaganda ng todo pero I guess, sayang naman ang kotse.

hehe.... thanks for all the info guys! 20s nalang talaga ako kahit na medyo bitin

cards, i think kimps was referring to the 18" rota journeys, not the 20" extremes in his post

If you get side by side with a Paj on 22"s maliit tignan ang 20"s but whats the chance of that happening? Na-inspire ako when i saw yung fortuner na naka 20's. The profile looks thin enough for me.

Major na ang price gap between 20 adn 22. maybe as much as 20-30k!

Me personally i just want to break the 20" psychological barrier.
