    50K PMS (What to check/replace?)

Ano-ano ang ginagawa dito? Alergic na kasi ako sa Casa kapag mechanical.

Mga Isuzu gurus meron ba kayong checklist na gagawin sa 50K PMS?

    Thanks!

Sir try looking at your warranty booklet. Naandun po yun. Pag walang nakalagay na 50thou check up ang alam ko its similar to a 25thou check up. Hilander ride mo no?

    Sir UBS73,

Na mis-placed po kasi ang warranty booklet ko po. . Yup hilander po siya. Aside from the usual change oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, check transmission and gear oil, greasing, wheel alignment, fan belts... Ano po kaya ang mga parts na due for replacement at that mileage?

    Thanks!

di po ako guru ..gurang lang :D but here's my additional tips.
    -valve/tappet clearance adjustment
    -rotate tires
    - clean front and rear brakes - nililiha nila yung rear drum brakes and front disks nung sa casa pa ko nagpapaservice.
    - kalas na rin lang rear drum brake..check for leaks sa brake pistons.

    - when was the last time napalitan gear oil? kung di ka sure... better have it drained and refilled. dami metallic grits na naiipon sa gear oil pag matagal na...

-repack front wheel bearings na rin kung di na na repack.
-check battery condition : check electrolyte level kung posible... kundi naman, check mo sides mo lumolobo na. any bulging is a sign na malapit na bumigay battery mo.

    - check tyre conditions - tread depth, unusual bulging or unusual wear patterns....might be a good idea to go to a reputable branch ng servitek for your wheel alignment. ma check na rin nila conditions ng ball joints
and tie rods mo. pag ok pa suspension and alignment, pa tyre balance ka na kahit sa front lang.

-check powersteering hose for leaks, steering gearbox for leaks also.

-check fanbelts for slippage or minute cracks - ikutin mo yung belt. it's very hard to detect cracks in your belts when it's under tension so check very carefully. might be a good idea to slacken your belt first before checking.

ano pa ba? check/change car freshener? check car interior for traces of sperm? change car upsholstery to pure leather to avoid traces of sperm? hehehhe
    hope this helps ;)

Change/ bleed brake and clutch fluid if you haven't changed within the last 2 years.

    cHriS20,

The trooper needs a thin diesel engine oil, ie, 5w30 or 10w30 only and preferably synthetic.

You can use Petron's All Terrain 5w30 synth oil, 7L needed. Change oil using isuzu oem oil filters(2pcs) so you don't lose the warranty.

jackaroo: does it mean that eventhough I have it serviced outside as long as I use Original filters and petron oil... ok lang sa warranty?

Actually sinabihan ako ng casa that they would honor any injector problems as long as I have it serviced with them.
