4WD Trouble?

The front wheel icons on my 4wd status indicators intermittently flash even when I'm running in 2H. Ano kaya problem nito. I'm pretty sure the 4wd is still working because there is still binding when I try to turn with the C/D locked.

I'm suspecting something is amiss with the electrics or the front axle disconnect.

Do you know any shop that can look into this? I don't think the dealer has much experience with 4wd systems.

Auto lock hubs na yan di ba?

Try backing up a couple of hundred meters to disengage it. Nasanay na lang kasi madalas mo ginagamit sa city driving on 4H.

Walang hub ito. It uses vacum yata to disengage the front axle. Anyways, basta gumagana ang 4wd so I'm no rush ipagawa. Para makahanap na din ng ok na shop.

Kanina pa ko umaandar ng paatras. The neighbors are already giving me the wierd look. hehehe.

Drive it backwards then forward, parang naglalaro ka lang, baka naipit lang yung vaccum nyan.

otep nangyari rin sakin yan sa alabang,pero after ilang minutes nawala rin,umakyat kasi ako sa gutter eh medyo mataas kaya nag 4h ako tapospagbalik ko galing ng mall nandun parin yung indicator ,kaya shift ako ng shift,eh ayaw parin kaya tinakbo ko na lang tapos nawala rin

i think it's an electronics problem.

check mo yung 4wd sender unit sa transfercase. pitikin mo. disconnect then reconnect.... see if anything happens. I had the same problem when i had my ride overhauled. The batt was disconnected for more than a week.

Inengage ko lahat ng transfercase settings tapos hayun bumalik na sa normal operation.

happened to me recently. the answer is to clean your electrical relays and contacts and spray some WD40.

Neighbor, can you come over and clean it for me? hehehe. Kapag napadaan ka sa tapat namin on your way home nasa bangketa yung Pajero. HIndi ko pa maigarahe dahil sobrang dumi. :mrgreen:

ewan ko nga dyan sa indicator ng mitsu. yung amin din dati, walang tigil sa pag patay-sindi. minsan, sinubukan ko rin iatras, wala rin:?

di ko talaga mahanap yung solusyon sa problema na yan. pero may nabasa na rin nga ako na relay lang daw yun sa T-case

I have the same problem with the indicator.

Pero yung sa akin I hear this, for a lack of a better description, "tricycle sound" whenever I switch to 2H. The sound gets audible when I am at radual deceleration. Tapos kapag malapit na akong huminto, mayroong "thonk" sound coming then the 4wd indicator starts flashing. I'm running on 4H ngayon, wala namang problema.

Anyone with the same symptoms?

wid dis topic, napansin ko po yung 4wd indicators ng blister fender paj po namin ay nagfa-flash immediately after starting. is dis normal? nasa 2h po yung t-case pero yung green lights indicating the front tires would flash pagkastart.ngayon ko lang po kac pnansin yung 4wd indicator lights pagkatapos kong mabasa yung query ni sir otep
