4x4 conversion ng 4k

mga tol,

kelangan ko ng technical expertise niyo. paano po ba magconvert ng 4k to 4x4? anong trany,transfr case, diferential ang dpat gamitin? anong ratio po kaya ang maganda dito? d po ba underpowered kung 4k lang? tataas po ba ang konsumo ng gasolina nito?

ano po kayang magandang masuggest niyo na convertion to 4wd ng 4k pang low-budget lang po?

Baka po mahirapan ang makina kung gagawing 4WD. At swerte na rin kung may mahanap na parts ng tranny and transfer case na sakto para dun.

Kung gusto nyo makamura na 4WD, try the HiJet (yung maliliit na van) parts. Merong lumabas na 4WD units.

may nabalitaan ako na nag-four-wheeling 4k makina trany 4d32 yata un.malakas naman daw pero malakas din sa gas.

Hindi ba 63 bhp lang ang 5k? Paano na kaya ang 4k? hehehehe. Actually, wala naman sa engine yan. As long as you can find a transmission with transfer case that will bolt up to your engine, pwede ka nang mag-convert sa 4wd. Front differential na lang.

Ewan ko lang kung magiging driveable kasi chopsuey ang labas niyan. Mahirap din malaman ang transmission ratio at differential ratios lalo na sa surplasan kasi kadalasan wala nang ID tags ang mga piyesa dun.

madugong project yan....a mechanic friend of mine suggested that instead of doing chop-chop....get a ready made one...lalo na kung di ka naman mechanic or meron overflowing cash.

But if you insist, I would suggest that you match it with the tranny and the whole front and rear differential (buong pang ilalim ideally) ng mga 4WD na suzuki minicabs. A chop-chop shop will have these but the integrity of these parts would be a good question mark.

These 4WD minicabs are normally using engines that are just 550-660 cc engines....so matching it with a 4K(1200 cc) would give it a good power. Possible complication would be the adapter to match the engine with the tranny (toyota-suzuki marriage yan so the bolt pattern could be different).

The rest that you would need would be aesthetics like body lift to match your tires etc.

if 4K you can mate it with samurai tranny/transfer and diffs. ive seen one samurai jx with a 3K motor used. it replaced the orig 1,000cc engine and it ran better and powerful than the orig one. you can make a custom bellhousing adapter and change the clutch to fit the pilot shaft spline of the suzuki tranny. it would be a time consuming effort but is possible. you cant underestimate the power of the 3K/4K engines of toyota especially if you put 3k head on the 4k or the other way around. this engine is used before for drag racing for those who cannot afford to buy bigger engines and if tuned properly can give other engines a run for its money.

oo nga ARB, may nakita na rin akong samurai js na kinabitan ng 4k na makina (ung gumagawa ng hummer replica sa zobel roxas), kinabitan dw niya ng 4k kasi pinalaki niya ang mga gulong nito, size 15, d kaya ng orig engine.

mukhang suzuki trany and differential tlaga ang kelangan ano po?

Wala bang 4x4 na Daihatsu Hi-Jet? Kasi baka mas madali yun. Licensed from Toyota ang mga pang-ilalim ng Daihatsu.

Yung Feroza, yun ang Toyota Blizzard nung araw, eh.
