Topflip and other tri-fold bed covers. Are they really leak proof?

Good day po mga boss. I am planning to buy a pickup before the end of the month. And I need a bed cover which is water/leak proof.

I just want to ask po if meron na po ba may experiemce with topflip or other trifold bed covers that promised a 100% water/leak proof? Totoo po ba na 100% leak proof sila?

If ever po what is another alternative bed cover that offers 100% water/leak proof. yung affordable po sana than topup or carryboy sport lid?

No such thing as a 100% leak proof tonneau cover.
Single piece will be less prone to water entry than trifolds.
I'm a firm believer of "you get what you pay for".

some folks get by handsomely, by simply purchasing the SUV version of the pick-up.

I checked with a dealer and it's around 60k inclusive of installation.

Was tempted to get a pickup rather than an SUV but the cost difference is minimal already if I add a cover... that will last for at best 5 years (?).

Sa SUV na lang ako as I really don't need a bed.

my dad buys pick ups one after another. nag simula sa fuego napalitan ng navara tapos ngayon hilux. lahat naka carry boy tonneau cover. correct na hindi sila water proof. for a short amount it may keep your things relatively dry pero papasok padin tubig. ang tanda ko last na bili niya was 44 o 46k ata for the hilux. tapos may kailangan cleaning ng mechanism every so often kasi napapasukan ng mga debri at tubig. naputilan na kami ng return spring noon dahil kinalawang.
