Now that SLEX and NLEX are fully rehabilitated.

I think this is the only safe place to measure this starting

from the toll exit. the help of a companion is recommended

for safer driving. anybody who've tried this please post your

timing. on my part baka minuto abutin but i'll definitely try

my timing once lumabas ako ng NLEX.

may balak kang i-pang diesel car drag racing xwind mo pre?

i've not timed my 0-80kph sprint but I can give you some tips on the shifting.

1st gear - max speed nyan around 50-55kph, halos 4000 rpm na yan
    2nd gear - I'd say around 60-70kph,
3rd gear - mga 80kph...umiiyak na makina nyan... super ingay na halos mautot ka na sa ingay hehehe
nasubok ko na yan in field combat sa highway.

up to around 60kph, mabilis ang xwind, but from 60-80kph, mabagal na. we'll, what do you expect... it's a diesel

gudlak and ingat na lang pre... minsan may pothole dyan sa nlex na bigla na lang susulpot hehehe

Yung XUVi Crosswind MT takes about 30 seconds or so to get to 100 km/h. But I've noticed it's quick up to 40 km/h.

Guesstimate ko (will test nga, later) is about 20 seconds to 80 km/h.

high power-to-weight ratio and turbo assisted, di nakapagtataka. I wonder how the hyundai getz crdi will perform. imagine, 235 Nm torque (talo pa xwind, 170Nm lang), and weighs half a ton ligther... baka pwedeng pang drag racing yun!

Mahinhin pa pala yung pag-drive ko nung nag-timed trial ako, shifted a bit before 3,000 rpm. Went from 0-80 kph in 14 seconds in a 2006 Starex M/T. Try ko uli pagdaan ko sa NLEX next week

haven't accurately timed myself yet on our diesel 2.2td vehicle. but for sure, I can go 0-80Kph in less than 15secs but 80-100 is slow to pick-up anymore... it's 3C-t engine 216Nm*2600rpm http://retro.co.za/lr/tech/engines.html

I don't know about you guys peru mas mabilis ata ako sa A/T compared to a M/T on a same vehicle basta from a standing start at the traffic light with no advance revolution...

can't time myself later... kaka-overheat lang kasi last sunday. napasukan kasi ng Gasolina...

0 to 80 kph for diesel powered only
