from the article:
those are not supercarsSo, would you buy a locally manufactured, P1.6-million "supercar" if it went on sale today?
those are kit cars
P1.6M for a fiberglass kit car with 1990s-era Japan surplus engine or a brand new Toyota 86?
ooookaaay"We only plan to make 10 units; that way, the cars can retain their value," added Factor. "If we make more than that, the cars will lose their value because they won’t be unique anymore."
guess those 10 units are already sold out even before going into production

so don't buy mass produced supercars like gallardos and R8s and 911s coz they lose value quickly coz they're not unique hehe
totally agree on this.we should concentrate on making fuel efficient cars not 'supercars'
if they're serious about building supercars they should focus on the important stuff -- chassis, suspension, drivetrain, engine
looks like the focus is on the skin
Naalala ko tuloy yung quote ng isang tsikoteer asking the CDR-King tindera kung kelan sila maglalabas ng car.
I will go with Miles, ibibili ko na lang ng Mazda 3 kung meron akong 1.6M.
What safety features you can get from a 1.6M supercar?

Why you good for nothing unnationalistic crabs!
I'll buy me a crz with that money.
I'm just glad that they're doing something. This is not bad for their first try. Malay mo in the future thay can make a legit supercar

^They should build right the first time. Unless that car deserve to be called a supercar, I will not buy it.

Kaya naman pero it will involve a lot of research and money. Gaya nga ng sabi, di basta basta ang supercar. Di yan yun tipong design ka ng body, salpak ng makina and all, then yun na, supercar na, which is the case ng nasa article. We all know na a lot of research and study ang ginawa ng mga manufacturers para sa isang legit supercar. Its not just the design, its the science in it. But then, this could be the start of more things to come.
IMO, shouldn't have started with 'supercars'. Sana from a conventional 'fast car kit' na lang. And I think it should be on 600-800k pricetag lang. Wala naman import tax.![]()
I agree. A reasonably priced FUN car.
Make it look like the Zarooq SandRacer and I'd get one.
