Peugeot Philippines to get a new distributor soon | Autodeal

Peugeot Philippines is set to have a new distributor in the country within the year. The French brand will now be under the Spanish-based Astara company Astara and will take over where its current distributor Columbian Autocar Corporation has left off.
Astara operates in 14 countries around the world. While these markets are primarily in the European and Latin American regions, the company still has years’ worth of experience backing it up. It currently has dealerships in Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Chile, Colombia, and Argentina. What makes the Philippines special is that it will be the first Southeast Asian presence for the company which could open more doors for its expansion within the ASEAN region.

Peugeot fail: Motorist demands return of car from shuttered branch - Bilyonaryo.com

“My car has been in Peugeot Pasig since February 2023 (wow, 11 months and still counting) and they’ve been nothing but incompetent, unresponsive, and full of excuses for the entire duration of this very poor service. From the tech representative to the group general manager, brand carrier and distributor, everyone’s highly irresponsible,” his Facebook post read.

Flores said he recently learned that the Pasig branch has been closed effective December 2023. However, there’s no word about what happened to his car.

“[T]ake note, they didn’t have the audacity to mention this to me at all,” he added, calling it the “worst service ever.”
