December 23rd, 2003 08:22 PM #2Better to use our " CYBERLUBE" * Php 545/250ml bottle to be mixed up to 5 liter of oil. It is a metal protector/ friction-reducer / all-around lubricant which will prevent engine over-heating and adds power on your engine and saves up to 25% on your fuel costs while extending oil change duration from recommended 5,000km to 20,000km!. very informative yung thread ni theveed..very informative indeed.. lalo na yung chapter 14 & 15 hehe
okay since additives are outta here, and we only need to follow the change oil interval, how about ENGINE FLUSHES?would it be better to flush the engine before changing oils to make sure all deposits and sludge buildup go off?

and btw, in the ad of x1-r, they say theirs is different since x1R is an ENGINE treatment not an OIL treatment, so theirs is not the same. well, after reading the article posted up by mr theveed, the bottomline is that both are the same and both aint worth your time and money. hehe.
sayang kaka believe na talaga yung ad nila no? haha increased HP pa daw haha and yung pajero na ginamit nila dun na parang abnormal tumakbo, anyone can do it naman basta bigla mo lang apakan yung gas (throttle) pedal and realase and step again

Tsikoteers were divided into 2 groups when being asked about engine flushes. Some say they do in every 10k kms. with new oil or some engine flushing detergents. While others don't.
Here are some of the more recent links:
-how often should you engine flush and add additives??
