go with NWB or Bosch or Denso... yung OEM spec lang... very cheap compared to those silicon & bracketless thingamajigs.

my OEM wiper blades are still ok after 3.5 years.

then have your front windshield polished by a professional detailer to get rid of the grime... kahit anong ganda ng wiper blade mo eh walang kwenta kung madumi ang windshield mo in the first place.

Nag fifishtailing yung wiper blades ko. Just replaced them with bosch, pero ganun pa rin. I tried using glass cleaners (ammonia free). Smooth naman, but after a few minutes of use, balik sa fish-tailing. Glass problem ba? thanks

as i"ve said... have your windshield be polished by a professional detailer... not all grime can be removed by just using a glass cleaner.

Dagdag lang. even before ako magpalit ng wiper blades, nag loosen yung wiper linkage ko from the motor.
Parang di exact fit yung plastic replacement. May tok tok na sound pag gamit ko wiper ko. Di kasi umuulan nung pinagawa ko kaya kulang sa testing.
Sa OEM ba, can you buy the linkage ( the bar with the plastic sockets at both ends) or just the plastic sockets? Car is Nissan Sentra B14.
    Thanks

gumegewang yun wiper :D just had mine replaced, Denso NWB. Sarap pag bago ang wipers, tahimik and super clear pag wipe niya.

    btw...

yung OEM wipers ng Rav4 hindi pwede na blade lang palitan... yung buong mechanism dapat ang palitan (since yung blade ay naka mold sa wiper frame).

for the passenger's side - napalitan ko na.

yung sa driver's side ako medyo hirap since may wind deflector na kasama yung OEM... saan kaya makabili ng ganun na pwedeng replaceable blade na rin?

The rubber is molded sa frame? it that case you need to replace even the frame, bosch has that. kung yun goma lang kailangan palitan, meron din nabibiling ganun. I just had mine replaced, may deflector din kasi yun wiper ko so yun rubber lang pinapalit ko. 150 lang.

    thanks! bosch pala.

yes - wind deflector nga pala yung right term. damn toyota for fitting in blades that are molded to the frame.

I'm curious about them wind deflectors: are those things really effective?

I've noticed that some autos use wipers that have "double blades". Doesn't this produce too much...resistance that would accelerate the wear and tear of the wiper motor, bushings, etc?
