Hello!
Nauubos po yung oil nung car ko. Lumalabas ata dun sa Valve Cover? (see attached picture).
Thanks!
Note: Picture attached is not the actual picture nung car ko, nag hanap lang po ako ng picture para may maipakita ako kasi mahirap i describe.

as for the usok, mukhang normal lang yata yan, not sure though.
Last edited by artpogi; November 3rd, 2006 at 12:40 PM.

assuming your gonna buy an original Mitsubishi Gasket, if you buy the valve cover gasket and the sparkplug gasket, it will probably cost between 1400 to 1800 (note this is "original Mitsubishi gasket"). Ako kasi I don't scrimp when it comes to engine gaskets eh, but that's just me.
Tappet = valve adjustments, madali lang gawin yun, any competent/knowledgeable mechanic can do that.

How much oil are you losing? You will not lose that much oil kung purely diyan lang dadaan.

Same thing happened to my friend's nissan B13 engine just this morning, oil leaking at that same spot of the picture, after travelling from meyc bulacan to camiling tarlac. I told him to tighten the philip screws that might be loose...which it was.

try mo muna itighten yung screw sa cover, as teh previous poster said. sa akin kasi ganyan din, i just tighten the screw ang yun okay na sya, no more leak.
mahal talaga gasket ng mitsubishi. try to scout for a good replacement kung hindi makuha sa tightening.

Just make sure tighten it with right torque or esle if you overtighten it the leak will get worst or even damage your valve cover.
