hi all,
hope someone can help. my old school 1990 corolla xl 1.3L is no longer giving me 10 kilometers/liter mileage.. given todays gas prices i really need this to be more efficient again...my odometer is now 165,000 kms
nowadays i am only able to do 8.2 kilometers/liter only (same type of city driving as before)... what could be causing this? I had it tuned up and replaced some leaky gaskets and even replaced the fuel pump, but i still get the same gas mileage....![]()
should i :
-replace the clutch?
-clean the carbureator?
-change the (3-yr old) tension wires?
-overhaul the engine?
-what could be the other causes?
hope someone can help...i really like this car.
Thanks!
