Question: 1995 BMW 525i. My BMW is always giving off white smoke. I noticed it does not overheat or anything like that. The outside temperature is 38 deg F. Help.
Answer: White smoke when first started is normal. If white smoke continues you have an internal coolant leak, i.e., cracked head/blown head gasket.

btw, outside temp might mean ambient temp and not the temp of the engine.

July 21st, 2006 11:15 AM #5bago ko umuwi, nag warm up ko ng makina, pansin ko white smoke... last week lagi naulan... sa weekend change spark plugs and change oil ako...hope it'll fix it..

sakin kapag malamig panahon puti talaga usok. normal lang siguro yun. parang sa baguio, hinga ka kapag madaling araw, white smoke din galing ilong at bibig.
I think the bigger ones which has more ampere in the battery can go around 45 - 55km. Smaller ones...
