whistling sound sa converter

to all tsikot members help naman.
car ko po is 2000 corolla gli matic. me whistling sound po na sumasabay pag apak ng pedal, delay o huli ng about 1 sec yun sound. pag bagong start naman ang oto, walang whistling sound until umaandar na ng mga 5 mins(or nag-init na). nung pina-check ko sa mechanic, ang sabi e sa converter daw yun tumutunog(using a hose). questions ko po, ano po ba ang possible na sira ng converter para mag-whistle ? nare-repair po ba ang converter o replace agad(nakupow)? san po ang maire-recommend nyong shop para ma-diagnose na maigi yun whistling sound ? if ever palit ng converter, mga magkano po kaya aabutin labor & parts (nakupow ulit)? salamat ng advance sa mga magre-reply...

torque converter nga, matic e. i suggest pagawa mo na agad yan bago lumala. palagay ko bearing yan. so better palitan na yung bearing bago masira ng husto yung buon tranny mo.

masakit talaga sa bulsa yan, pero mas masakit kung pabayaan mo.

thanks afrasay & yebo, next wud be, san shop naman po ang maire-rekomenda nyo to properly diagnose, estimate & repair na din po in case na yun nga pong torque converter ang sira ? taga QC po ako and willing naman ako kahit south o mejo mlayo yun shop as long as maayos gumawa(at siempre nde rin masyadong mahal)...
