guys, where do you put your "kalso"?
i'm driving a civic kasi and lagi sa rear wheels ko siya nilalagay. also, is it enough that i put it on only one of the rear wheels? i sometimes park kasi sa office ng mom ko na inclined yung parking.
thanks.

All you need to do to secure your car is to pull the parking brake as high as you can, engage to 1st gear (or P if a/t) and that's it. Unless your car is 20 years old and/or has a malfuctioning parking brake, there is no need for a "kalso" but if you insist, the back tires if it's an upward incline and vice-versa.
also when parked downhill turn your wheel towards the gutter and away if parked uphill
hassel pa yang kalso kung nagmamadali kang umalis. and another load sa trunk kung palagi mong dala. imho
tama sabi ni russpogi, just pull the parking brake to secure the car. =)
either front or rear, tapos hand/parking brake & engage your gear.
pag bumitaw pa naman yan...
Oh yeah! I almost forgot! hehehe! This is actually included in the Philippine Driver's Lisence Exam if you just read it!Originally Posted by afrasay

ang isa ang nabasa kong advise w/c I practice, I parked downhill, engage mo reverse gear, kung uphill naman, 1st gear. do this only after you engage your parking brake, otherwise, you'll put a lot of strain on the tranny.
Ako naman lagi nasa 1st gear, whether up or downhill. Di kse ako sure eh. Tama kaya ito?Originally Posted by rsnald
