When to Replace Your Carburator

Gusto ko lang itanong kung when could we possibly know na dapat na palitan ang carburator?

I have a 1992 Corolla with 1.3 Engine.

I'll take it from my experience since pareho tayo ng oto though 1990 yung akin. According to my trusted mekaniko, my carb needs to be replace kasi nung binuksan niya yung carb, madami nang kalawang deposit sa loob at the same time pag piniga ko ng husto yung accelator to 6000 to 7000 rpm nawawala na tamang idling kaya the soulution would be carb replacement, if you experience the same problem baka it needs a carb replacement too. goodluck pafs

bro salamat i think I have the same problem with you ngayon as to you before. Bro have you tried cleaning or ovehauling your carb?

when the air leaks and rebuilding kits cannot solve the problem.. then its time to replace.
have the carb rebuilt first, it does not cost that much naman.

Rebuilt is same as new. Why spend so much money to a new one if your carburator is rebuildable. Unless rebuilding cost more labor than new then go the other way.

Replacement was my final decision when I got tired of repairing/overhauling my toyota 2F's carb. I got an Edelbrock carb that sold for a bargain at our local auto parts center.

a carb can be overhauled to work like new as long as the one overhauling it knows what he is doing, in other words, an expert.

try to bring it to kamuning sa kamuning carb specialist look for mando. pag hindi na talaga kaya irepair sasabihin naman nila. pero halos lahat ng parts meron sila.

napansin ko lang na ginagawang "quick check" ng mekaniko...they remove the air filter housing, then cover the throttle body opening with their palm,sabay rev. i'm guessing that they're trying to check how strong the vacuum is to check for leaks
