    hi guys -

i installed a simota air filter (already read about the pro's and con's) on my civic 98. so when the stock airbox is removed naiwan itong 2 ito sa car.

the filter is installed with these still in place. ano ba gamit nito and can i remove them? or would it be better to just leave them there?

    thanks.

If you are talking about sa resonator ang purpose nito ay to reduced ang noise .

If there's nothing connected to it, you can just let it be. Best to keep it in case you want to put the stock filter back... but you can remove it and set it aside, if you want.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Teka, may resonator ba ang air filter assembly? Di ba sa exhaust lang nakikita yun?

Hindi kaya yung "resonator" sa pix ay yung stock air filter assembly?

yung 2 black tubes nakikita ko sa engine bay, dun nakakabit dati yung stock air filter box ko. if i remove my front bumper, i see the white box on the passenger side (just behind the bumper and below the headlight)

i believe it is a "water catch" not really a resonator.

what's it for and can i remove it?
