mga boss, where can I have this replaced. I have a 10 year old car (lancer), mejo mahina na yung weather strips / door gasket. Ayaw nang umangat ng konti ng front doors pag binuksan mo. plus, kapag nag highway ako, meron nang sound ng hangin coming from the door seams.

Gusto ko sana ng cheaper option.. nagtanong kasi ako ng OEM, PHP3,400/per door, parts pa lang. baka lang may local/replacements or DIY na pwede-pwede na. any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem before with my EE90 XL5. I think there are some shops that do restoration of the gaskets. I know there was a service like this in honda casas but they just outsource it another shop. I just dont recall what shop it is.

Although, if the rubber is already too crispy and/or brittle then it would be better to replace it. Think of it as a rubber band left out in the sun, even if you cool it back down the elastic properties are no longer the same.
