valve adjustment

mga mates, may tanong lang po sna ko sa mga expert diyan, san po ba ang first cylinder ng 4g15 na engine 12valve, pag naka TDC ba? alin po ba ang iadjust yung ist cylinder ba o yung running mate nya..tia po mga master

I'm no expert, siraniko lang.

You adjust valves pag naka TDC. Start with No 1. Its the one nearest to the flywheel. After adjusting no 1, rotate the flywheel so no 2 is in TDC position. Adjust no 2 and so on until you finish with the last one.

I know there are shortcuts but its beyond what I know.

Instead of doing 1,2,3,4 you should do 1,3,4,2. Thats the firing order of most 4 cylinder engines and it should be faster for you.
