Monark (Cat dealer) offers used oil analysis at affordable rates. They call it their SOS- scheduled oil sampling- available in their lab facility in libis, QC. Contact Cris salvador at tel- 637 9521.

    SOS analysis charge:
    1) complete testing: Php605 (sos-comp)
wear metals, total base number for engine samples, viscosity either v40 or v100, flash point, water by distillation.

    2) complete testing: Php770 (sos-wopc)
same as above with particle count

    3) normal testing: Php385 (sos-basc)
wear metals, fuel dilution, water by hotplate

    Volume of sample required:
    complete test- 250ml
    normal test- 100ml

Haven't tried it yet but heard their results are reliable.
Suggest we share test results on this forum, specially on new oil tests, so we have benchmarks for our used oil tests.

    Kinematic viscosity * 100*C - ASTM D445 - P2,300
    Flash point (PMCC) - ASTM D93 - P1,600
    Total base number - ASTM D2896 - P3,000
    Metal content - ASTM D6595 - P2,500

    Jeez... that's expensive!

Blackstone Labs (in the US nga lang ) does the following 'Standard Test' for $28 (approx. P 1,350):

Spectral Exam: D5185 - Establishes the levels of wear metals, silicon, and additives present in the oil. Also checks for coolant.
Flash Point: D92 - Determines the grade of oil.
Insolubles: D96 - Quantifies the percentage of solids present in the oil.
Viscosity: D445 - The flashpoint is the temperature at which the vapors from the oil ignite.
