Usually palit spark plugs, adjust timing, palit ng contact point/condenser (kung hindi EFI), adjust valve gaps.

Yung ibang engine hindi na nag aadjust ng gaps ng valves kasi hydraulic type na yung adjustment. Not too familiar sa mga newer models ng engine pero these are the usual work done.

kung sa honda casa kayo pa-tune or PMS, meron silang list na ginawa sa car nyo.. kasama sa standard PMS like check the fluids, battery, rotate the tires etc... tapos meron silang recommendation kung ano ang mga kailangang ayusin sa susunod na PMS mo.

as said, depende sa KM reading.

taga talaga presyo sa casa kaya try mo dalhin na lang sa labas. same thing at a fraction of the cost.

hmmm. kung taga south ka, dun mo dalahin sa minerva tires alabang. tried their tune-up services once. medyo pricey nga lang, but they did a satisfactory job.

    and afaik, tune-up consists of:

    a. change oil
    b. change oil filter
    c. change spark plugs
    d. change/clean air filter
    e. change fuel filter
    f. adjust timing

suggestion though... gas stations offer change oil/tune-up packages.. why not try their services?

personally, i am having my tune-ups every 10000 kms at shell las pinas lang. at 5000 kms, change oil/filter lang.

minerva, medyo mataas labor nila eh. i think 300 for the oil change, and 400 for the spark plugs and timing.

sa shell, inaabot ako ng 2200, all in, including oil (semi-synth), oil filter, spark plugs, timing and some small activities like changing the fuel filter and air cleaner (which i can actually do myself).

yup, prens is ok. kaya lang minsan ang daming tao dun eh. wala kang maparadahan. ang hirap pang lumabas.

fully synthetic oil ata ginagamit sa casa eh. kaya medyo mahal. tapos, palit spark plugs yan. considering casa yan, doble price nyan kesa sa bibili ka. tapos labor, which could also be double than the cost if done outside.

imho. 70000 kms na eh. siguro pwede na yan sa labas.
