ayos... mura lang pala ECU... mga kups nga nga yang tao sa toyota.. gusto lagi palit hehe.. kagagaling ko last sa toyota makati for warranty check of the ff: (5months old pa lang)
1) free play ng brake pedal (medyo malalim)
2) cracking noise sa ceiling near the rear aircon
for #1, gusto eh ipalinis ko na buong brakes kaso sa 10K pms pa next sched ko, so di ko na pinagalaw..
for #2, gustong ibaba ang evaporator..so babayad ako ng freon at iba pa.. sabi ko eh malakas pa aircon at gawin nila lahat dapat under warranty.. nakinig naman at inayos nila ng hindi kinalas ang aircon.. tsk tsk...

Careful kayo pag swap ng ECU, if a major sensor shorted out, it'll damage the new ECU as well, that's why ECUs or any major sensors carry no warranty even if bought from a distributor. Best to have the system diagnosed first then go from there. In most cases narerepair ang ECU unless ang board ang sira or yung main chip.
