Toyota Corolla Altis (Seat Height Adjustment)

I tried driving my freind's 03 Corolla Altis J. I'm about 5.6 tall, but I kinda found it hard to see the front of the car. The J model does not have an adjustment to increase the height of the driver seat.

I'm not sure if it is just the illusion of the dash being on the bulky side as compared to other makes. But what I experienced was that I was sort of overwhelmed by the bigness of the dash. I felt like a smaller, shorter person. Parang I had this feeling that the dash was engulfing me.

i'm 5'8", and based on the limited time i spent inside an altis' driver seat, medyo nakakailang nga coz you really can't see the corners of the front very well, kahit elevated ung position mo...unlike ung ae92 na kita mo ung edges.

Pero sanayan lang cguro yan...if you drive it long enough matatantsa mo na yan

oo nga, pa-test drive. ewan ko guys pero, i used to drive pick-up na may napakalaking blind spot. pero i got used to it, kaya pag kotse ang dala ko, feeling ko madaling i-drive.

try mo adjust yung steering tilt, baka it would somehow solve the problem.

Had my brother's Altis J for a few months. Ganon yata talaga ang design nya, mataas ang position mo, tapos hindi mo talaga kita ang hood corners kasi pababa, unless lumapit ka sa windshield. Yun lang, medyo mataas siya compared sa mga lumang corolla.

Masasanay ka rin naman after a while.

d pa ko nakaka drive ng altis, cno pwede mag pa test drive jan? nasanay kasi ako sa pick up and sabi nga din ni ian_rex, mas madali from pick up to car. mas madali idrive

i own an altis 1.8G, pero di ko naman nararanasan yung sinasabi nyo....sabagay may height adjustment ang seat nun...pero mas ok naman ang seat height ng new altis kaysa sa rolla 92-97 model..sobrang baba ng upuan nun...
