mga master, newbie hir. just got a 97 lancer pizza tail. e wala po cyang tacometer. kano po ba pa install ng rpm meter? ok lang po ba na may ganun ako? hindi ba ko magmumukang ricey? kasi fuction lang talaga habol ko. ano po sa tingin nyo? feedbacks po are greatly appreciated. saka ano po ba tong mitsu ko? eto po ba ung gsr? sori la po kasi talaga ako alam.

Baka EL siya kasi walang tachometer. As for the instillation part, antayin na lang natin mga experts. hehehe

if 2-door, GSR yan and 1.6L EFI with tach. if 4-door, maraming trim but based on the fact na walang tachometer sila, most likely EL po siya (1.3L carb engine). the GL (1.5L carb) and GLXi (1.6L EFI) had a tach na.

opo. definitely EL po to. kasi po hinanap ko na ung taco di ko makita e. possible po bang malagyan ng tacometer ito? kano po kaya ang magagastos ko sa installation? and one more thing.. hindi po ba talaga to power steering? kasi ang tigas tigas nung manibela. TIA!

Seriously, you can attach an aftermarket tachometer, kasi most modern engines, may naka-abang naman na wire for the tach signal

pwede yan. tap na agad sa ECU to get the proper rpm readings for the aftermarket tach.

i have a lancer gsr bro, may tach na sya eh, pero gusto ko palagyan ng tachmeter na may autoshift light. ok lang ba yun? ano difference nya dun sa built in tac ko and dun sa separate tach na may auto shift light? mag kano pa isa nito? gusto ko lang kasi sya for good looks lang. ok lang ba? thanks.

actually wala syang kaibahan dun sa stock tach ng lancer. maganda lang talagang tignan.

not too sure though, but I think you can buy just the shift light and you can tap it to you stock-tachometer.

But then, okay lang din yun bili ka ng aftermarket tach meter with shift-light kaya lang redundant.

bro, imho. i really don't see the purpose of a shift light if you are not a racer. but then again, its your car and its your money.

pero kung ako yan, i will just spend my money getting a more useful mod or an accessory..

peeps i have several questions regarding tachometer?

ano po ang function nito?
how much po kaya ang tach?
possible ba itong i-install sa lancer el 93?

yung importance po ba nito justifies the cost of the installation?

2. 800-3,300 Afaik. the more pricey, the likely it has a gear shift light indicator.
