What is the average lifespan of your typical OEM sparkplug?

I haven't replaced mine in 4 years pero parang ok pa naman sya. Wala bang problema kung hindi ko muna papalitan? Tsaka anong symptoms na dapat ko na palitan ito?

    Salamat!

The lifespan of your spark plug is indefinite is you keep it clean (soot free and burn free), gap is within specs, and replacing the copper gasket everytime you do your maintenance check. But then again, why go all the trouble of that if you can buy Iridium 4 or Platinum 4 for a little over than OEM spark plug. Your prime symptoms to check your spark plug is your fuel consumption is getting higher than normal.

    wow?! 4 years?

Platinum spark plugs sa escape ko.. I change it every 25k-30k kms.. bago pa pumalya.

iridiums can go as much as 50k-100k kms.

ung mga ordinary nasa 5k-20k kms.

My brother's '97 Montero is still on its original plugs. But then again, its rarely used.
