Wet flooring at the passenger side

Mga brothers, patulong naman. Lagi kasi nababasa yung flooring sa passenger side sa likod. yung area lang na iyon yung nababasa. Hindi naman umuulan at wala naman sumasakay sa likod. Bale my car is a nissan sentra 2003 gx automatic. Mga 3 weeks ago, napansin ko na basa yung flooring. Tipong soaking wet talaga. Ginawa ko, pinatuyo ko siya. Binuksan ko yung pinto at tinapatan ng electric fan for one whole day. eventually natuyo naman. ngayon, basa uli. pero hindi naman umulan at walang sumakay sa likod.

tulungan niyo naman ako, medyo clueless kasi ako eh. thanks!

Ginamit mo ba ang Kotse? check mo yung drain plug sa ilalim ng carpet baka naka daan ka sa basa tumalsik sa loob.

yup, ginagamit ko naman yung kotse almost everyday. pero wala akong naaalala na dinaan ko siya sa basa. pag nasa office ako, covered naman yung parking. pag nasa bahay ako, covered naman yung garahe.

yung passenger side sa harap hindi naman basa. umaabot ba yung aircon drain sa likod? titingnan ko mamaya kung yung plug naalis sa likod.

hmmm...kaka check ko lang kanina....tuyo na uli. ano ba yan...ang weird! hehehe. ano kaya yung problema. di ko masilip yung ilalim kasi gabi nako nakakarating ng bahay eh.

Bago lang po ako dito sa forum. hingi lang po ako ng tulong sa inyo regarding leak kapag umuulan. basa po yung flooring ko sa unahan, both passenger at driver side. cinilip namin minsan ung ilalim ng dashboard,binuhusan namin ng maraming tubig ung windshield, marami pong pinanggagalingan yung leak . model po ng car ko: 2nd hand mazda familia 96 model manual. ano po kayang sira nito?appreciate all your reply.tnx in advance!

maraming pinangagalingan? san nyo nakita? nung binuhusan nyo ba ng tubig ang windshield, may leak na?

ang pwede lang pangalingan nyan is windshield and yung sa doors. other than that, di naman siguro butas yung sahig mo no?

thanks 1D4LV,before kc, nabasa na mating sa unahan. nakapark lang to overnight at ulan buong gabi. so, I assume hindi sa butas sa sahig galing. then one time, nung binuhusan ng tubig ung windshield, nakasilip sa may ilalim ng dashboard ung kapatid ko( sa may steering wheel), dun nia nakita may mga leak.

Regarding po sa basang flooring, nababad dn po flooring ko mula likod gang harap. Found out na nung pinalitan ung bumbilya sa tail light, hindi na ikabit ng maayos, walang nut ung upper portion. Naayos na po ung leak sa tail light.

Try ko padry sa car wash pero insist nila padetail ko kasi di daw po madrdry yun at mabubulok and kakalawangin flooring dahil di rn nila kaya mapatuyo ng hindi babaklasin carpet. Totoo po ba yun?

Bka po me cheap effective way na mapatuyo un, so far, am trying to suck dry using chamois pero prang walang katapusan. Hoping na lng dn me na umaraw na sana ulet and tutukan ko na lng ng electric fan.

have you checked the door weatherstrips for cuts, tears or rips? if they are intact, there are two possible points of water intrusion with a parked car. one is if the cowl (the narrow sheet of metal below the windshield and directly behind the engine hood or bonnet. this might be rusted through. the easiest way to correct this is to remove the cowl grill and apply coal tar or brushed on truck bed liner on the suspected area. do a wider patch than the hole as the cancer probably spread already. the other source of leak is from the butyl tape(black adhesive used to fasten and seal the windshield against the body of the car) that has detached from the body of the car or the windshield from believe it or not, improper use of garage jack at the auto shop by the "well trained" mechanics or parts replacers jacking one corner of the car. there is a difference between the service jack (the jack that came with the car for changing tires) from the garage jack that raises the car to a point that the car body distorts beyond the designed tolerance by twisting the car's body too much that usually causes this butyl tape to detach and create a new leak. thanks to those "well trained" mechanics or parts replacers.

jick.cajeco, ganon din sir problem ng toyota gl ko pero sa driver side lang, di ko pinansin noon kasi nung nilinis ko yung daanan ng tubig mula sa grill pababa biglang pumasok ang tag-init kaya, ngayon na lang uli kasi umuulan na. dun sa mga possible cause na binanggit nyo, ano po kaya maganda at madaling solusyon? salamat po.
