January 10th, 2006 05:18 PM #1ask ko lang mga sirs kasi its my 1st time na makagasgas or bangga ng sasakyan. ask ko lang kasi naka gasgas ako ng yellow na car, mine is black (yes its my fault at an inclined parking sumabit unahan ko sa tail nya because of early kabig ng manibela)
so yun kumapit kasi yung yellowish na paint nya sa paint ko. sinalat salat ko yung tama medyo parang naka embossed yung kapit ng paint nya sa car ko. parang glue na natuyo sa surface. rubbing compund po ba talaga ang pangtanggal dun sa kumapit na pintura nya. hindi ba mahaharm yung paint ko just incase? is about 6 inch long and 1 1/2 thick yung damage. and also to the other car.
thanks!

Well good news sayo is that in any case na nagkapaint transfer, yung natransferan ang swerte. You can take that yellow paint off using compound carefully. As long as no paint was removed from your part, then it can be restored to almost like new...
I say almost because 9/10 times if it's the bumper, the paint or the rubber will be slightly burnt and will cause some waving on the paint surface.
As for the other car, then it has to be repainted since wla na yung paint.

well pag ipapapintura niya yung buong panel mga 2.5K to 3.5K ang gagastusin niya, pag spot repair well mas mura na so 1K is just right. Pwede ka rin mag haggle its up to you.

Would appreciate any suggestion!
