My local battery crapped out again, as I expected on the 21st month on a 20 month warranty. I've always wondered why local batteries crap out just around the time the warranty expires.
I suspect that due to the limited market, the battery makers make sure their products do crap out every two years or so. Para bili ng bili tayo lahat. Planned destruction not obsolesence. Opinions please.

I decided for a change, to install a U.S. AC Delco battery bought from S&R--remembering that those Delcos were guaranteed for a minimum of 48 months and max of 72 for the premium type.

Gulat ko when all they were giving as a warranty was, you guessed it 2 years! I asked the manager sabi nya kaya two years
ma trapik raw dito(walang ganyan sa States) sabi ko have you gotten stuck in hot and dry LA traffic?meron don.

Hindi mainit daw masyado dito(walang ganyan sa States!) how about Arizona? la bang Delco batts don?
I even told him the packaging had the familiar "60" number which refers to 5 yr warranty. (Walang ganyan sa Pinas) We get screwed again.
Let's see if it will last longer than 2 years.
