i have this weird experience with my honda civic esi 95 manual transmission...
at traffic when i'm in neutral, my engine RPM seems to play between 1 and 2 or at least the indicator moves up and then down without touching the accelerator..
    any comments?

Naka-aircon lang ba yan? If that's the case, pacheck mo ung aircon. Baka nadedelay ung pag-disengage ng compressor. Ganyan problem ko before although between 1 and almost 0 naman sakin to the point na namamatayan na ng makina.

had a similar experience too, only happens when in traffic, the culprit was the aux fan not working.

kung idling lang, and traffic, normally nasa 700-800 rpms lang yan, with aircon on.

how about kung masyado bumababa yung rpm pag naka engage sa drive (automatic transmission) with aircon on. pag shift naman sa neutral, tumataas siya sa normal rpm.

maayos ba ito ng paglinis sa intake manifold, throttle body???

Have the electrical the Tachometer (RPM) checked. Baka loose connection lang yan.

well depends. minsan kuha sa cleaning (which you can do by the way... just get a carb cleaner bottle). minsan kelangan overhaul or palit specific parts.

The real culprit, 90% of the time, is simply a vacuum leak.

i hardly see any vacuum leaks... most of the time it is a defective or dirty sensor.
